Long Description:
Hello, it's me again.. I have been inspired to write a lot of scripts since purchasing your GP-DYNAMICS technical guide. It's been a really BIG help to me. Anyway, this new sql script below scans the History Transaction table SOP30200 for all documents applied to particular customer. I used this query to help our Accounting Manager get a quick idea in gauging whether a customer is worthy of credit increase. There are other queries and interfaces involved in that whole process; this query is just a tiny part of it.

IMPORTANT:
Commands with UPDATE, DELETE or DROP can ruin your data! Please use these queries with caution. We highly recommend that you backup your database before trying out these commands and to load them up first on a test server. Use at your own risk.

declare @custnmbr as varchar(22) set @custnmbr = 'CUSTOMER-ID' select CUSTNMBR, DOCDATE as TrnDate, case SOPTYPE when 1 then 'Quote' when 2 then 'Order' when 3 then 'Invoice' when 4 then 'Return' when 5 then 'Backorder' when 6 then 'Fulfillment' end as Document, SOPNUMBE as DocumentNo from SOP30200 where CUSTNMBR = @custnmbr and VOIDSTTS = 0 order by DOCDATE NOTES: If you want to filter them by date just add another condition after the 'WHERE' clause. Example: Something like 'WHERE DOCDATE >= '01/01/2007 ADN DOCDATE < 02/01/2007 AND CUSTNMBR = ... and so on'
